I got out of prison in 2007. i recieved 2 years probation and only did one year because of good behaviour. i waited the customary two year period before filing for my record to be sealed. my attorney recieved all the paperwork,a court date was set. in the meantime,my chaplain from my place of incarceration has asked me to come back and speak to other inmates late this summer, early fall. i mentioned this tpo my attorney and he thought that the judge would be interested to hear that. now, for some reason, the judge wants the chaplain to send my attorney his letter of invitation to me. i have asked other local attorneys if they have ever heard of such a thing, and they all have not. prior to my conviction, i have never been in   trouble with the law…nor since. never had a hole shot in prison ect ect. my question is: if this is not a normal procedure, can the judge be held responsible and who should i contact for an investigation? Idid 2 years in prison.
