Free Pardon Applications

In 1995, I was arrested and in 1996 convicted of possession of controlled substance <1gm.  I was 18 years old at the time.  I had a baggie with some cocaine residue that was measured at 0.3gm. I was sentenced to a term of probation for 4 years, which included a 1 year incarceration, 9 months of which were spent in Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facility (SAF-P) in Hondo, TX.  After my release, I started college, got a job and began the process of recovery. In 2003, I completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.  I completed this schooling while working full time and footing the bill myself.  I have had many opportunities since graduation, but have been denied many as well.  I have worked at Johnson Space Center as a Project Engineer for the International Space Station and currently work as a Systems Engineer in the Subsea Oil and Gas business.  Working in the oil and gas business, I am often asked to entertain customers.  This entertainment often includes activities involving firearms (sporting clays, pistol shoots, etc.).  I am unable to fulfill my duties in these areas.  Since the purchase of a firearm is out of reach, so is the protection of my family.  My home, property and family remain vunerable to violent crime as I have no way to defend myself if the need arises.
