Back in August of 2011, I got jumped by a male and a female while I was pregnant. Their mother stood there and watched. She told them to do it in the first place. They were trying to get money from me. I had my two other kids with me as well, ages 1 and 6 months. I was so scared I had never been in a situation like that and I don’t fight, but I always kept a knife on me for protection just in case something happens. So I pulled my knife out and stabbed the female, and the mother called the police on me. I ended up going to jail. I didnt even know I was gonna go to jail, because it was self defense. While I was in jail all I could think about was getting out for my kids. On my court day, my lawyer told me that I could do the deffered adjudication probation for two years, and my case would be dismissed. I’ve been off probation for a year now, and it still pops up. I lost my house and I can’t find a good job.
