I was arrested in 2010 for a theft charge which I did not commit.  I was with a neighbor at a local store when she decided to steal without my knowledge and because I was with her I was charged with the same offense.  Because this was my first offense it was reduced to a A misdemeanor and I was given a year probation which I completed without any kind of violation.  I have never been in trouble with the law before this or since this and because of this on my record I cannot find a job because of a theft offense.  Unfortunately I cannot even get the charges removed so I think there should be something lawmakers can do to remove this off peoples record who have not been troublemakers before their offense or after so we can lead productive lives.
