Held back because of my Past
I was convicted of 2 felonies (non-violent) in 2007. I served honorably in both the Marine Corps and the Army. Since my conviction, I obtained my CDL class B license, I earned my B.B.A from in Accredited University, and now working on my MBA in Management. I have almost 10 years of Military service, and would like to complete my years for retirement. The only problem is that the military are not allowing ex-offenders join.I feel as though my record should not define who I am. I made a few mistakes, but my good outweighs the bad. I enlisted at the age of 17, and at age 32, is the most work experience I have. To make matters worst, D.C does not expunge or seal most felonies. What can I do??
