If I was arrested for domestic violence but I did Pre Trial Intervention, would I fall under the amendment?

Based on my reading of the applicable law (Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(9)), I believe the restriction only applies to convictions that meet the definition of domestic violence.  If you successfully completed a pre-trial intervention, it sounds like you were not convicted.... therefore the law would not apply to you.
