The number of people who have asked to join RecordClearing.org in effort to help change expungement related laws has now exceeded 2,000. This incredible number as been reached in less than five months.
Thank you to all of those who joined. We look forward to providing you more information and action items in 2011.

Please email me at my personal email address, as I would like to discuss some things with you regarding the efforts to change laws.
Mr. Higbee, congratulations are in order to you and Records Clearing as a whole for targeting this area of law for reform. An area in need of reform for decades such as: expungement, pardon and/or clemency could very well shine a light on the many reasons why it should include more categories of offenses.
Hopefully, it leads to the introduction and inclusion of the life-long side effects suffered by being burdened with a criminal record that contains erroneous info. or (that doesn’t qualify to be expunged) as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Until it is recognized as a harmful side effect and life altering digital parasite on a national level, it will continue to stand in the way of those seeking gainful employment, housing, and assistance. Thus, being directly responsible for the subsequent unemployment, homelessness and dire straights. Ultimately leading to crimes being committed by those who otherwise wouldn’t have even considered it.
No mater what, it is very nice to see that R.C. is heading in the right direction as it helps the underdog attempt to regain his/her lives. Thanks for making a difference.
