Utah law allows you to get clean your criminal record by expunging records of criminal convictions, arrests that did not lead to a conviction and of juvenile records. If you are not currently on probation or facing any current charges, Utah law (Utah Code Annotated Sections 77-18-10, 77-18-11, & 77-18-12) allows you to have your misdemeanor and felony convictions expunged. Typically, felonies can be expunged after 7 years after completing the sentence, Class A misdemeanors can be expunged after 5 years after completing the sentence, and all other misdemeanors and infractions can be expunged after 3 years after completing the sentence.
