so i used to be really messed up and was busted using drugs 3 years ago, got arrested and convicted, paid a fine, etc….ive been clean since then but im in the process for looking for jobs and ive been turned down every single time because of my criminal record.i guess since i live in washington i have to wait 10 years before i can clear my record….its so unfair what am i supposed to do for 7 more years?!? just needed to get that off my chest.

Sorry to hear about your situation. The advice I usually give is look for small businesses who are hiring. Small businesses may be more inclined to take a chance on you. Also, jobs that pay commission are more likely to hire someone with a record because they know they only have to pay you if you are a productive worker. Just a couple of suggestions.
