Fighting for My Rights
To Whom it may Concern:
I am writing this to inform you of the injustices of some of these laws that you have passed. I have a class 6 undangerous unrepetative offence and yet I am unable to clear my record due to your laws. I am unable to earn my rights back until 7 years after my date of conviction. Here’s something to mull over whiile you are debating to change the law.
The 2nd Admendment of the Bill of Rights,
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
This is not to exuse those who have felonies regarding sex or violent crimes. This should be for those of low enough felonies and misdemeanors in which sex or violent crimes are not involved. Also it should also be for those who do not have repetative crimes as an adult.
My story consists of this,
On May 15, 2011 I was areested for Theft and was convicted of a Class 6 Felony on July 28, 2011. I was placed on Standard Probation for period of three years. I violated probation on November 21, 2011. During the time I was on Probation I became an ordained Minister through Universal Life Church. I have tried to make my life as a good citizen, but wasn’t able to becuase of the Probation. When I got released from Jail on May 11, 2012 I have been a good Citizen of the United States. I have tried to have my record cleared, but am not able to becuase of your Law.
Thank for your consideration. I am asking you to help those of us who live in a bad neighborhood to alow us to have our rights to be reinstated. Thank You.
