Quote and Reply   Report Post 1 Is there an easy way to explain the new law and how it affects the waiting period? Does the clock start after sentencing has been given, or does the clock start after probation is over and fines and restitution has been paid? I have heard conflicting information on this subject. Some say it starts right after you are sentenced, while others say it has not changed one bit.
