I have already gone to trial for a marijuana and paraphernalia charge. I was found not guilty. Afterwards, my attourney congratulated me and also told me to make sure I get this expunged off my record after 30 days and told me it could be done online. It has been after 30 days so I'm ready to do this. I do not understand why I need to have anything expunged if I was found not guilty and I have no idea where/how to do this. And hopefully it won't cost me anything. It just seems strange even having to do this since I won my trial. But this was my first charge of any kind so I really do not know anything about the legal processes at work here. I am pretty confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
