When is was a 16 was charged and convicted and had expunged of either MM possession or M4 paraphernalia (I was charged with both, but one was dropped and its been 10 years, I can't remember and don't have the records). Last summer I was convicted of a M4 disorderly conduct w/ persistence's (a plea charge changed from MM possession and M4 paraphernalia) I served 7 months probation before I was released and the sentence was terminated as completed. I am now nearing the end of my one year waiting period before I can file to have my misdemeanor record sealed. This is very important to me because I've recently received my Bachelors degree and can't get passed the background check phase of any job I've interviewed for. In today's era of over education and labor surplus I can't get anyone to give me a second look.Â
My question is, will my juvenile expunged record in anyway have and effect on my filing for a criminal record sealment as an adult?Â
Note: These two cases took place in different counties on opposite ends of the state.
