How long does Nevada require you to wait before requesting sealing of your record for felony of internal possession?

I am not sure what class of offense that is that you are describing.  I am guessing it is a class E felony.

The waiting periods to seal conviction records in Nevada are as follows:

  • Category A or B Felony 15 years
  • Category C or D Felony 12 years
  • Category E Felony 7 years
  • Gross Misdemeanor 7 years
  • Misdemeanor 2 years
  • Misdemeanor DUI 7 years
  • Misdemeanor Domestic Violence 7 years
  • Arrest without a conviction After dismissal or acquittal

These waiting periods start from the time you complete your sentence.
