SO IM READING ABOUT ALL THESE STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE WHO GOT EXPUNGEMENTS AND EVERYTHING BUT DO I REALLY NEED ONE?? DO EMPLOYERS REALLY CHECK CAUSE IVE NEVER EVER GOT A CHECK FROM A BOSS BEFORE.. PLUS ITS REALLY EXPENSIVE TO EXPUNGE MY RECORD I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF CASH

I cannot say you if you need one or that the employers where you are applying will do a background check.  I can say that there are statistics that show that 84 percent of employers do some form of criminal background check.

 

If you cannot afford to hire an attorney to expunge your record, you can download free forms on this web site (or the court's web site) and seek the advice of attorneys by posting questions in the forum.  Also, if you meet stringent low-income requirements, you might qualify for free help from the public defender in your county.
