how do you answer this question on a application? when i was released from prison in 1992 my agent told me to leave the answer to the question blank,just to get my foot in the door and explain my situation, are there any other possible good answers ????Smile

I don't know think I would leave it blank as it looks like you cannot follow instructions or complete a form. 

 

I think you need to addess it head-on and emphasize your positive accomplishments in the past 19 years.   1992 is a long time ago and hopefully you are a much different person.

I agree with Mathew. You should address it in the first place and try to convince them that you have changed as lot since the conviction.
