My name is John.Im from Michigan obviously ,and have unfortunatly 2 felonies on my record…first one I did not deserve is a Hoime Invasion 3rd degree happen over 4 years ago …I looked into the law I broke to get this conviction and I did absolutely not do nor did any of the degrees of home invasion. My second was for Identity theft wich was a year ago..
I was workng on a rail road making pretty good money ,and had a bright future for my standards when I was let go because of the felonies…thing is I can work on the rail road as long as my convictions were more then 5-7 years ago…
so my questions are the following: Is it possible even though i accepted a a plea bargain for the 1st conviction to appealed.?
Can you do the ''set aside'' convictions or any other options to get rid of convictions in Michigan or is it just the pardon?
With my two convictions and the terrible rate of pardons in Michigan is it even worth the effort to try for one?
all and any help is appreciated
