i just got recently engaged and we're starting to plan out our wedding (aiming towards a winter 2011 date). my fiance, who recently ended probation, wants to clear his record before we get married but is it possible for his record to be fully expunged before the wedding? if so how much is that gonna cost?

There are several questions we need to answer:

1. Is the case in Illinois?

2. Was her probation for a misdemeanor or for a felony?

3. when did her probation terminate and was it terminated satisfactorily? Also, are you sure she was sentenced to probation, and not to supervision, conditional discharge, etc.

4. Does she have any other arrests whatsoever, even if dismissed?

5. What was the crime?

Expunging/sealing your record requires understanding what the Illinois law allows you to do before just going to the courthouse and filing it. All of the answers to these questions will help us to determine if you can clear your fiance's record before you marry!
