Dear Sir,

I have a record (felony theft-adjuducation withheld) out of Florida that is sealed. I know the only agency's who have access to this would be a State or Federal agency (i.e. FBI, CHP, DOJ, etc) if applying for a Law Enforcement job.

My questiion is this:

If I am applying to work at a private senior living facility, would they be able to have access to this via a criminal background and a fingerprint check? Or do they just do a local CA DOJ check? (wich wount not show up as the arrest was in FLA)

It really depends on the facility's policy, which they are free to set.  My guess is that it would only be the CA DOJ, but that is just a guess.  You can ask if the check will be CA DOJ or FBI.  FBI would probaby include the FL record.
