Hello,
Around 30 years I was arrested and spent 7 days in LA County jail for receiving stolen property, in which, I plead no contest. I was recently trying to find my record, and I have search dozens of state and federal databases and through county courthouses. However, I can not seem to find any record. Over the years, I have become a Notary. As a result, my background has been checked by Homeland Security (Department of State) as well has State and Country screening (fingerprints for working at a bank), and have never received a notice that I have a record when I have received a copy of my background check.
My question, since I passed all the background checks, is possible that it is truly gone and even the Federal and State agencies can not find anything on me? If it is visible, who can see it?
Thanks,
Lee
